Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Currently lives outside of Longview, TX with her family and their animal entourage!  Married to her husband Lanny for 20 years.  Daughter Casie is 17, and son Cody is 14.  The Pets include the dogs Oreo, Sandy, Snickers, andPixie..

Brenda recalls, "I was raised in a musical family where my dad was the song leader at our church for the time I was growing up, and was a performer in a singing group that did recordings during the years.  My mother was very talented in sewing and very artistic in clothing. So between the two of them, creating became a passion."

Clothing design and songwriting both became passions of hers, as both are a connection point with people.  She finished college with a Bachelor of Science in Rehab focusing on Drug and Alcohol.  She looks forward to getting her Master in Music Therapy.

Brenda has taught music at Alpine Christian Academy for children ages 18 months to 5th Grade.  She says the kids taught her how to communicate the love of God, which is a vital part of the songs she writes.

She was a member of the "Hearts in Surrender" music group for 7 1/2  years, the contemporary Christian Accepella Group, which performed in various setting in Texas.  She currently sings on the praise team at her local congregation, Alpine Church of Christ.

Her second CD is entitled, "Only who You are".  It was released in October 2006 after a year of working at JoySound Music Studio.

Her third project is a compellation of her original praise and worship music, and she's currently in the studio working on this project.
